About the project

Optograd is detergent supplier

About the customer

Optograd supplies detergents to other cleaning services and companies. Its distinguishing feature is quick delivery within 48 hours. The service helps find an individual cleaning solution for everyone.

Working stages

The customer needed a catalog of all goods and services provided. We created a quick and user-friendly interface of personal accounts, which should help make wholesale orders without delay. The company’s revenue can be expected to increase with a new site-catalog that boosts online sales.

Python development with the django-rest framework on the back-end in combination with ReactJS on the front-end provided an ideal fit for these requirements. The quick and straightforward download of products supported by Python kept the workflow simple and made the catalog interactive and easy to use.

The UI of the website provides search functionality within the catalog which, in addition to being quick, allows users to pick an item within a selected category and add products to the cart. The user experience was also improved by categorizing individual segments of the catalog into their own downloadable sections.

The project was carried out according to the latest standards:

  • Industry: E-commerce
  • Methodology: Scrum
  • Engagement model: Time and material
  • Team: 2 front-end developers, 2 back-end developers, 1 QA engineer, 1 designer, 1 business analyst, 1 project manager
  • Technologies: Django, Python, React.Js

The final solution is fully operational site-catalog with categories of detergents and cleaning equipment. The customer registers in the system in two simple steps. A fully automated and transparent payment system makes the website convenient for users. The customer orders products and indicates the time of delivery. The user can leave feedback and subscribe to our newsletter.
